Mentored dance leaders Saleem Adam and Conie have been part of a training cohort that meets semi-annually in Des Moines, IA for the last year and a half.  As we have gone deeper into this experience, our love for our colleagues from various corners of Iowa and Kansas, Oklahoma and Vermont has expanded. 

To help us share our love of the Dances and grow the vibrant community in this part of the country, we started a Facebook group for the "Upper Mississippi River Basin."  Please join the group (it's open and public!), invite friends, post regular and special dance events happening in your area, and share posts from the group with others. 

The regional boundaries of the group are centered in Minnesota, Iowa, and Wisconsin, but are only limited by your sense of inclusion, drivability, and reason to visit these regions because of family and other draws.
